Subject

Marquette University High School Key Club

Description

Throughout its development into an established institution with a long history with the Near West Side, Marquette University High School worked to begin regulating and tracking their involvement and interest in the Near West Side. As MUHS's Key Club was directly and consistently involved with community events and fundraisers, the organization was one of the first examples of official interactions between students at MUHS and the Near West Side. Some popular events MUHS has been involved in are the Blood Drive and Annual Rummage Sale. The club as had continuous community service efforts for 50 years. Although both the members and events of Key Club routinely change, the motto of "Caring - Our way of Life" has remained constant.
