The article also mentions the Near West Side Plan, which is a road map that includes land use policies, six distinct districts, four specific corridors and 8 catalytic projects, which were approved by the Milwaukee Common Council in March 2004 and is part of the Milwaukee Overall Comprehensive Plan.
