Article on the Freshman for Others service day. Students performed service at 10 different locations around MKE, including St. Rose Elementary School, Neighborhood House, House of Peace, MKE’s Catholic Home, Repairer’s of the Breach, Irving Elementary, Agape Community Center and the Penfield Children’s Center. Many students also helped clean the neighborhood streets and parks in the Merrill Park Neighborhood. The article also mentions the Micah Fund, which is used for financial help for MUHS students with special needs caused by homelessness, joblessness, family emergencies or for students who need help covering the costs of transportation, lunch, school supplies or field trips.
